Ava Marian is 6 months old! - Jan. 24th, 2010
Well, our little girl has been with us for 1/2 a Year now, we can hardly believe it! Words escape me, when I try to think of ways to express how much she has done for J & I since she's been in our lives...she is a miracle! We love her so much, and she continues to be an absolute joy in our lives, enriching each day! We can only imagine, all the great moments and memories to come! Here are some pic's I took of her playing!

Ava's eats! - Sat. Jan 23rd, 2010
Well, Ava is about to reach the 6 month mark and we feel she is ready to try solids! We started with some mashed up avocado, thinned to a runnier consistency with breast milk. She loved it! Below, Sat morning breakfast pictures...

Erica & Madison visit! Birthday luncheon at Gloria's - Sat. Jan 16th, 2010
Yay! Cousin Erica and baby Madison are visiting from Hawaii! Also, January 15th, is Shaunna's Birthday! Happy Birthday Shaunna!! To celebrate, Gloria is throwing a luncheon for everyone in the family to get together!
Baby Madison is such a little sweet heart, and it was great seeing her and Erica. All the kids (AND adults) had a great time visiting...and playing rock band on Wii!! Madison was eating solids, crawling, and talking and smiling! She's so cute with her beautiful smile and thick dark curly hair! McGrath's Christmas exchange - Jan 10th, 2010
We finally met up with Sister Steph and Tom and Bubba to exchange Christmas presents! We weren't able to see them in December, and Ava love sher Auntie, Uncle, and cousin Bubba! Dinner at Amanda & Shawn's house! - Sat. Jan 9th, 2010
Amanda & Shawn invited us over to dinner at their house, which we happily accepted! We enjoyed the company of them and their boys, Alex & Myles, along with Amanda's Mother & beau, Sally & Jerry! It was so nice to see everyone, plus Ava got to meet everybody (aside from Amanda) for the first time. Dinner was fabulous! Amanda made a wonderful pasta carbonara & ceasar salad, with a new chocolate dessert - yummy! Ava did really well, playing and being super cute for Auntie Tootsie and Uncle Shawn! Around 7:30, I went to feed her and she went down to sleep in her bouncy chair we had brought for her. We were all able to visit, & enjoy great wine, food, & company until almost 11:00 pm! Thanks to the Anderson's, we had a wonderful time!

Happy New Year 2010!!! - Jan 1st & 2nd, 2010
Bumpa Brad came to stay the night on January 1st and spend time with Ava and us! It was great! After Ava went to sleep, we all watched a family favorite, "Dances with Wolves" and ate root beer floats! Not a bad way to start 2010! (New Year's Eve, Ava was't feeling weell while home with Daddy {Mom was working}, so we had a low key evening as a family) Here, some pictures of Ava with her Bumpa!
